A hallucination is a fact, not an error.

This game is ridiculously intense and ridiculously awesome.  9.8 for graphics. the narrative storyline is very impressive, and the game play is even better than the original call of duty series.

You're going to need a decent computer for this one.

I think I played one of the older ones. I borrowed it from theDude awhile back, and I definitely liked it. How does it measure up to past ones? Also, is it WWII again? I haven't been keeping up with FPS games lately.

It's set in modern times with the enemies being radical middle eastern extremists and ultranationalist Russians.  It's the same great gameplay but more intense and a more advanced AI.

I've snagged a copy for myself... You weren't kidding! that first scene on the ship was amazing... the pitching and rolling of the ship, the effects, the interactive environment. Amazing.

Yes!  I was genuinely anxious during the first mission when the helicopter starts to takeoff and you have to jump on it, haha.

Yeah, this is one of the best games I've played in a long time.  When I played the old ones, I always thought they were great, but they would be so much better if they were modern war games.  Then, my dreams came true : )

I'm sad. Lost a hard drive on friday, so now I have to start over from the beginning. Oh well--I was stuck trying to defend the tank on the third level.

Yeah, that mission is hard.  Basically I got around it by running full blast at the last transponder in the beginning open area.

Oh yeah? I'll have to look for that when I get back to that part. I've only had time to get through the training level--but the ship part is pretty fun, so that's not such a bad thing. Smiley

I finally got past the part where you're defending the dead tank! I ran south and camped out on a hill and covered the flank long enough to get the message about the ZSU-23 AAA, then I sprinted for it guns blazing. The game is so much fun!

Seriously, though, part of the reason I started this area was to give people a place where they can organize multiplayer games, and such. Afterall, I do enjoy multiplayer--I do not enjoy putting up with the nasty part of the equation: things like 13 year olds who try to make up for their youth by blaring obscenities*, people that are rude and obnoxious, etc.

*Note: it's not that I think everyone should have clean language 100% of the time (I sure don't), but there's a difference between swearing out of frustration, etc. and just being pointlessly obscene.

What's a number?

Muliplayer? WoW for everyone.

A child recently asked me what eight times four is. I thought about it for a while. I put together some experiments. I ran some tests. I searched through numerous published articles on number theory.
I then came back to the child and responded, "What's a 'four'?"

WoW has already ruined a good portion of my life.  I don't need it to take anymore.
