The Five Love Languages

Okay, so this is a totally cheesy book- from the cover, to many of the ways a point is made in it; however, it is a great book. The purpose of it is to figure out how your mate knows he/she is loved and to do those things. People feel loved in different ways. And it's been broken down into 5 main areas, though there are many different "dialects."
We had to read it in our Marriage and Family class my first year of Master's Commission- when we couldn't date. It sounds ironic and torturous, but it was actually great to be able to look at it while outside of it (in hopes, of course, that we can implement them into our future relationship with our spouse and have a more healthy, deep, fulfilling relationship).
Look past the chessiness. It really is a good book.
Has anyone read it?

I haven't, but I've heard of it and C.S. Lewis wrote a book similar to it called "The Four Loves." From what I've heard of it, it's a very useful book. It's on my "to-read" list (along with a million other books).

I've read it. It really is great. I like to read it every 2 years or so, just to refresh myself. Helps when we get in the rut of doing the same things over and over again.
