I don't have myspace, so I can't hear for myself. Why do you say it's terrible?

You can still view and listen to the page without being logged in.  :]

I tried, I couldn't figure it out. It looks as though you have to request an invite to be able to get to your main page. Is this correct?

I got it to work. I don't know what happened before. User error.  Grin

I think it actually sounds cool.

Listened to the first two cuts.  I'm not the biggest fan of experimental music, but I liked this.  I especially liked the mixing of such soft smooth notes with a beat that I would call more "driving."  I definitely want to listen to it again.  Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the kind words.  I appreciate them.  I'd include vocals beyond soundclips/percussive voicing, but I'm afraid I sing like what I imagine a dying giraffe to sound like.

See my comment on "Favorite Christmas Music".  Your music reminded me of George Winston's arrangement.

I listened to your music a few days ago, and forgot to comment  Embarrassed  I thought it sounded neat.  I've never heard of "experimental music" before, but I enjoyed listening to it.

I only had time to listen to a couple of them, and quite honestly, I normally loathe experimental music (and yes, I have heard quite a bit of it--mostly thanks to a class I once took at USF). However, I rather like yours. You play with new sounds and acoustics, yet it's still--for lack of a better term--listenable. Keep it up. For what it's worth, you can post mp3's on the gallery if you wish. Don't worry, we have plenty of room. Smiley

Haha, thanks Roy.   I usually get "that's interesting" or "that's weird" when people listen to my stuff.   I'm not doing it to be different or to get on some sort of strange triphop/electronica record label.  I'm doing because there isn't anything I enjoy more than creating or performing music and this is sort of the natural product from that.

PS: Anyone need a percussionist/drummer?

You should meet Ed. Ed comes to LifeQuest- well, once in a while he does. But music is his life. That's what he does. I've heard a lot of his experimental music. It's cool the way different sounds and ideas are created through music, but I have heard "interesting" and "weird" stuff.  Smiley

We have 2 really good drummers/percussionists. But, they don't play a lot, it seems. There are times when some of our worship bands are looking for drummers and the other two can't play. We can always use more. Of course, that would mean coming to LifeQuest.  Wink We actually have some really good musicians there that I'm sure would love to get together and jam.

I'm curious, Anxiety, what software do you use to make that music?

So, I just listened to all of the songs you have on your myspace page. Honestly, I like them. Really. I really like Color of Energy, (but I'm not sure how I feel about the humand "sound effects" Smiley. It's kind of cool and kind of weird at the same time). I like the addition of Audrey Hepburn lines in Fearless Lazertag, though. I think this is some good stuff.

I think you should consider doing Christian Artist Night. I know the whole thing with the title, but not everyone that comes is a Christian. You don't have to say anything. You can just do your thing- play your music. We need more of a variety. We're always looking for something different- as in, not the same sounds or styles that are usually there.

Well, this is an old thread, but hopefully you'll find it.  Smiley
