This book is so incredible.  It's been called the Pilgrim's Progress for our day in age.  It's fictional like the pilgrim's progress and it paints the most beautiful picture of who God is and totally blows our boxes and stereotypical ways of viewing God wide open.  PLEASE READ IT!!

Haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I've been hearing great things about it.  I have it on reserve at the Library.  Hope I can get a chance to read it soon.  Thanks for posting the recommendation.

I just finished reading it on my trip to Germany.  It is one of the best books I have ever read (and I've read a lot).  I think it says something when you realize that the book is a self-published book (the writer and his friends created their own company when no one else would publish it) and now publishers are screaming to help distribute it.

I highly, highly, recommend this book to everyone.

Yeah, it does say something when the book was self-published (a fact I did not know), yet was #1 on New York's Best Seller List and is #2 on iTunes audio books (per Sara Campion)- and not #1 "Christian" book. #1 out of all books.

Just shows that sometimes when you buck the system and try to make Christianity more modern and related to today's society, you have to do it on your own.

I did enjoy that the author put more different perspectives in the book and even challenged traditional thinking.

Christine was much more thrilled about the book then I was, but it helped her with some questions about Christianity and being able to understand some aspects of her journey more clearly.  That is probably the best endorsement I can give for the book.
