Not necessarily! My university education has taught me that I'm incapable of original thought because I don't have letters after my name, and therefore anything that IS original thought must have thorough citation to people who do have letters after their name. Of course, said original thought can't be
too close to what the ivory tower said, because then I have committed a grand crime. Though I'm not allowed to have an original thought that hasn't been thought of before by someone with letters after their name... and therefore must copy... but crime... *head explodes*
