What's a number?

If you are one of those people that gets mad when a movie doesn't follow the book exactly, stop watching movies. You had the Watchmen, and you saw how that turned out.

That being said, if you go to the Half-Blood prince expecting to see the last Harry Potter movies, you will get quite a pleasant surprise. I felt this move was very well done. They kept very accurate to the idea of the book.

I was upset in the last movie because there were certain parts that were taken out and other parts that were put in. i was upset not because they had changed the book, but because they had changed the story. In  the HBP, they also took out a few parts and added some others. But, I actually enjoyed the changes. I felt they helped to progress the story line and keep in line with the general plot of the book.

spoiler alert

The only part that was changed form the book to the movie that was un-enjoyable were the conversations between Potter and Dumbledore. By leaving as much out as they did, I feel they deprived the movie of some of the emotional challenges that both Dumbledore and Harry had to face.

All and all, i can't wait for the next two movies (Yes, 'Two'. The final book is being split into two movies.

A child recently asked me what eight times four is. I thought about it for a while. I put together some experiments. I ran some tests. I searched through numerous published articles on number theory.
I then came back to the child and responded, "What's a 'four'?"

A hallucination is a fact, not an error.

For me, this movie was a big pile of fail. In fact, I thought it was the worst of the series. I have not read this particular book as I cannot stand Rowling's style, but I must say that this film had little to no logical plot sequence.

I will argue the lack of plot. If you were to take this movie by itself without any other movie or any of the books, then I can see how the plot falls apart. However, this is not a stand alone movie. It is meant to be taken as a series. The plot was very solid in that it built up the conflicts that were underneath for the last book; and it set up the whole tone and base story for the next movies.
Now I can also understand how some of the instances in this movie didn't make sense or seamed random. But I contest that it only seemed that way because the last movie did such ahorrible job of carrying the story. However, if one were to have read the previous book instead of just watching the last movie they he/she would see a continuous and complete story.

Finaly, I would rexomend reading the entire story. If her writing style I'd the only thing you didn't like, you'd be pleased to find that he style changes over the course of the series; becoming much better in my opinion.
