What's a number?

« on: August 15, 2009, 02:58:46 AM »

Ever since the first timw I played a Wii I have dreamed of a sword fighting game. Unfortunately, the Wii-mote does not sense a wide enough range of motions to do a decent sword fight.

At least that was true until three weeks ago. Nintendo has released the Wii motiom plus...a small extension to the Wii-mote that allows for a more 1:1 movement between player and player-character.

Wii sports resort (which is one of the three games that came out with the wmp) is a pretty decent game. It has allowed me to taste a good sword fighting game... and now I want more.

Also, I've been told the new tiger woods game is a'ight.

A child recently asked me what eight times four is. I thought about it for a while. I put together some experiments. I ran some tests. I searched through numerous published articles on number theory.
I then came back to the child and responded, "What's a 'four'?"

Thanks for the heads up.  I knew about it, but wasn't aware that it was out yet.  Will have to get it (I also understand you can use it on Tiger Woods 10).  Yeah!

The motion plus does work with tiger woods. In fact I've heard complaints (yes, complaints) about how accurate it is. If you slice in real golf, you'll slice here too. It's suppose to be very very exact.
