Oh Man!      Sometimes just honestly answering the question is the real test of the theology.  You're right there is nothing that dictates an afterlife, except our ego in that we cannot accept that we are the same as any other living creature.  I certainly would like to believe that there is an afterlife, it is much better then reality, I can't prove it, just a "gut" feeling that there is.   

Would be nice if someone else posted, with a different perspective, keeps it interesting.
