Ohh! Heroes is one of my favorites!! Aw, if I had known... I just deleted the episodes from this season that had already aired. I think you can watch older episodes online at the tv stations' website though?

Heroes is one of the two must-watch tv shows for me.

I managed to catch Heroes this morning. I thought it was pretty awesome!

***SPOILER ALERT******SPOILER ALERT******SPOILER ALERT***

I was kind of glad to see that the one girl can learn anything she sees, rather than anything she sees on tv, which would have been a bit... silly.

That is true. I didn't even think about that. Otherwise, she would have to watch a lot of tv...

So, while I liked it, I think they're jumping ahead too fast. Peter's all in love with this girl he's known for 2 minutes.

And, I think the boys are getting dumber on the show. Suresh took Molly to the Company- because they're the only ones who can help her? They're the ones who are hurting all of them!

And Matt and Nathan really didn't pick up on Matt's dad? He got all emotional after being hand-cuffed and said he would tell them everything if they un-cuffed him. Whenever you give an ultimatum, IT-MEANS-TROUBLE! And then, Matt followed him into the back of the apartment? He followed the man who has been torturing the little girl he took in and trusted him? Come on! Have they not learned anything?

I just think there are some holes...but I still like it!  Wink

Peter's all in love with this girl he's known for 2 minutes.

Guys do stuff like that. (I think in love is a bit strong... I think he just thinks she's hot, and she's convenient, so...)

It's not so strange an idea; it's kind of a variation of the Stockholm syndrome. He's held captive in a high stress situation, and he has no memory of anything. She shows him kindness, which he clings onto because it's the only comfort he had, and a sort of false affection grows. As for her interest in him, I think it's a combination of sympathy for his lost memory, mystery because of his strange abilities, and the sense of being swept away in a grand adventure. The fact that she lost her brother would probably cause her to cling to him even more.

As for this week...

Spoiler Alert!!

I was kind of shocked by Bob's sudden change of heart, especially since he backed it up with action, (seeing the girl safely home, giving her resources she'd find helpful, etc.). Anyone have any thoughts? Was he just trying to keep Suresh around, or was it a genuine change?

Heroes is totally getting on my nerves. The stories are jumping ahead so much instead of being played out. Suresh (as the narrator) seems to "fill us in" every week on why we've jumped 5 years ahead. (Okay, an exaggeration, but you get the point).

Peter is acting all in love with this girl (what is her name). She's now traveling the world with him to find out who he really is and why the blonde chick is looking for him. It'd be really cool if she turned out to be evil- with powers of her own. It would at least make that whole story line a little interesting.

I'm also thinking that the twin brother knows some english and is holding out on us, and he knows what Sylar said to him when Maya walked away.

And, seriously, have none of these characters learned anything? It seems like they've all regressed to high school and are just getting more and more dumb. Suresh, Parker, Nathan, Claire, Nikki (though I think Jessica came back last night)...At least Peter has an excuse for being dumber- he has amnesia.

And don't even get me started on Claire and her new boyfriend's little plot to "humiliate" the head cheerleader. Seriously, they couldn't find a less....traumatic way to humiliate her- like throwing ice cream in her face at school or something? Ridiculous. I don't know how much longer I can continue watching this fall apart.

Scathing review!

Though I kind of agree, this season isn't nearly as strong as last season was. They don't seem to be doing a good job of building any kind of suspense. Every time it ends with a cliffhanger, you just find out in the next episode. What fun is that?

Yeah, it's scathing. It's just one of the few shows I actually have enjoyed watching and it's just not living up to the hype it did last season...  Sad

At last! An episode of Heroes worth the 1 hour of watching it. I enjoyed last night's episode. I felt like it made sense and things were starting to get back on target. I'm so glad the Hiro in ancient Japan storyline is over, though I did find it quite interesting- and not at all surprising once it played out- that Kensei is Adam. It will be interesting.

I also thought it was cool that Matt trapped his dad in his own private nightmare, where he was keeping Molly because of the guilt he felt leaving Matt as a boy. I think they could have played out the whole scene where he was playing mind games with Nikki from afar. It could have been fun playing with all their heads before the epic battle. Though, it seems there's more to come.

Still confused about the Peter/Caitlin (figured out that's his girlfriend's name) thing. She might be a key to something, though.

And, thankfully, no bopsy twins drama. I needed a break from that.

Welcome back, Heroes. Welcome back.

So, last night was definitely interesting. About time they told us what happened in the interim. So... anyone think that that Adam guy is up to no good? Or do you think he's actually really planning on trying to save the world?

I think Adam is up to no good. Although, Bob is teetering on the good/evil fence just like HRG did last season.

I think HRG might be gone next week...
