Welcome to our little corner devoted to spiritual Growth! Permit me to tell you a little bit of what goes on in this section: - Bruce's Corner: This section exists entirely on the forum, and it is devoted to giving Bruce a place where he can post sermon notes, have discussions on various topics, articles, lessons, etc.
- Daily Devotionals: A section that draws several daily devotionals from other websites for you to enjoy. If you have any suggestions of good daily devotional websites that have an RSS feed, e-mail the webmaster!
- Spiritual Practices: The word is likened to a sword, and here we have materials that will help you in the process of honing it's blade. Everything from articles by theologians, to practical advice for studying your Bible, or spending time in prayer can be found here.
- Search the Bible: provided by Bible Gateway, this section gives you an interface for searching the Bible in many different translations.
- Educational Links: Links to other websites that have useful material for contributing to your spiritual growth.
That's pretty much it! I hope you find everything here useful. Always remember, if you have a good idea for something that can be added to this section, then by all means send an e-mail to Bruce or the webmaster.

Romans 8:35 asks a question that is very relevant for these
hard times. The New Living Translation
reads "Does it mean Christ no longer loves us if we have trouble or
calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or
threatened with death?"
We often find it hard to believe that God still loves us
when we are going through difficulties not of our making. There are some who might automatically answer
that Christ never stops loving us. But most of us would have to admit that,
deep down, we wonder if Christ really does love us. After all, how can he
love us and still allow this to happen? Write Comment (0 comments) |
