What is LifeQuest?

LifeQuest is a group of people who have join together so we can help each other experience what it means to "be" a church and not just to "go" to one.  While some things may feel a little different, LifQuest is faithful to the ancient truths of the Gospel as expressed and experienced in the relational language of today. We use the arts, music, drama, movies, and interactive teachings to convey the message of God’s love and to engage the whole person in celebration, worship, and learning.

We believe that Christianity is walked in relationship with others. Not just others who think and act like us, but also others who believe differently from us.  We desire to create a climate where all people are valued and diversity is celebrated.  That doesn't mean that we hold our "truths" lightly.  We are passionate about our convictions and beliefs.  But we believe that Christ's Spirit would have us dialog about our differences and not be divided by them.  Perhaps, in doing so, all of us will learn deeper truths walking together than we ever could by dividing and walking alone.

Our dream is to create an environment which will enhance our spirituality, deepen our love for God and each other, and enpower us to serve the communities in which we live.  We desire to share in each other’s hardships and triumphs, and we want to encourage one another in our spiritual growth.  Together, we believe we can “live the life" that Jesus said he came to give.

So I hope you will come and visit with us.  We're just getting started.  We're still learning and growing.  Sometimes we get it just right, and sometimes we don't come close.  But we are always trying.  We would love to have you join us in our journey.
